Who we are

This policy is issued by Fizz PR Communications Pvt Ltd ("Fizz PR", "we", "us"), a communications house with offices in Mumbai and Delhi. We are the data fiduciary responsible for the personal data described here.

It applies to this website, our email and contact forms, our newsletter and press list, recruitment, and the day-to-day handling of client and media contacts. If you have any question about it, write to privacy@fizzpr.com.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to do our work and respond to you. Depending on how you interact with us, that may include:

Information you give us

• Contact details, name, email, phone, company, role, when you submit a brief, email us, or apply for a role.
• The content of your messages, briefs, pitches and any files you choose to send.
• Press-list and newsletter sign-up details, where you opt in.
• Recruitment information, your CV, portfolio and anything you share during a hiring process.

Information we collect automatically

• Basic technical data, IP address, browser type, device and approximate region, gathered through standard server logs and analytics.
• How you use the site, pages viewed and links followed, to understand what's useful.

How we use it

We use personal data to respond to your enquiry and scope work; to deliver and manage client engagements; to run our press list and send updates you've asked for; to assess candidates and run recruitment; to operate, secure and improve the website; and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising.

Legal basis

Where the law requires a basis for processing, we rely on your consent (for example, the newsletter and press list), the performance of a contract (delivering work you've engaged us for), our legitimate interests in running and promoting a communications business, and compliance with legal obligations.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

Who we share with

We share personal data only where it's necessary, and only with parties bound to protect it:

• Service providers who help us operate, hosting, email, analytics, file storage and similar tools, acting on our instructions.
• Clients and media contacts, strictly as needed to carry out an agreed engagement.
• Professional advisers, and authorities where we are legally required to disclose.

Some of these providers may process data outside India. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure a comparable standard of protection.

Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires. Enquiry and client records are kept for the life of the relationship and a reasonable period after; recruitment data is kept for a limited window unless you ask us to remove it sooner; newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access the personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, request its deletion, withdraw consent, or object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email privacy@fizzpr.com and we'll respond within the timeframe the law allows.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe and to act quickly if something goes wrong.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the date at the top of the page, and significant changes will be flagged on the site.
